Milkweed Herbals

 

I began with Juniper when she was teaching yoga at my yoga studio, followed her when it closed, and then became a client when she opened Milkweed Herbals. She's been making my face moisturizer for me since then and promised she'd be my face moisturizer supplier for life. But that was just the beginning. I first experienced Juniper's incredible intuitive nature when I began working with her on some pesky intestinal problems. Over the years (it's been nearly 8) she's created a number of tasty seasonal teas that gave me a lot of relief. She also created an herbal tincture for our very anxious dog that successfully eased Nori 's anxiety.

 

And then Juniper began offering energy sessions. I must admit, I was reluctant at first, due to an extremely fundamentalist bias growing up; however, I eventually chose to start working with her. It's difficult to put into words how much these sessions have encouraged and grown my (as she calls them) growth edges. My mental life today is so much cleaner, clearer, and broader than it was before I began. But in working through a lot issues around family upbringing and health, it's tremendously improved my physical wellbeing, too. Again, Juniper's intuition has continued to astonish me over and over again as she brings to session after session exactly the practice or thought that speaks directly to a need in me, without my having shared anything about it. She doesn't 'do 'generic' meditations, her work with me is specifically focused on things we've discovered on this journey together; where to grow more edges, what needs visualizing to bring to fruition, how to let go of the old and celebrate the new being I am becoming with her tutelage. And that's just a few of the things she's helped me clarify.

Juniper has an unusual capacity to absorb and reflect in a way that allows me to 'see' myself. She's not spoon-feeding me dribble, she's aiding in the discovery of self by creating opportunities where the mirror allows me to 'see' self without judgement or bias. If that's not being 'seen', then I don't know what is.

​I feel incredibly supported by Juniper in this journey in the content she creates for me, in the way she holds me accountable, in the way she shepherds without judgement. But more specifically, she has been there for me through a very difficult medical journey, texting and emailing at just the right moments, shining a light on a very dark path.
